SS Buffalo was torpedoed by UB-64 off Corsewal Point. The ship was en route from Ayr to Dundalk with a cargo of coal. Ten were killed, of whom the below four came from the Outer Hebrides. The fifth name came from SS Setter, which was torpedoed nearby by the same U-boat.
